DoA4 seems pretty cheap.

But this one is just god AWFUL.

I've seen this vid before. Just ridiculous.

If 150cc special cup rainbow road counts as a final boss, its one of the cheapest.
 
Also that Yiazmat hunt in Final Fantasy XII gets special mention since it has 50 million hp and takes at least an hour to kill!
 
Try Ultimate weapon in FF8. I remember him takin a while. Then again an hour is nothing for some things in FFXI

Ninja Gaiden has some ridiciously hard bosses too.

The most ridiculous hardest and cheapest bosses I had a major hell of a hard time with are Alpha 152 of DOA4, Onaga in Mortal Kombat Deception, Dagra Dai of Ninja Gaiden II, and Omega Rugal Bernstein of KOF 98.
 
DoA4 definitely has a cheap boss. Sometimes I feel like winning is predicated more on "I got lucky" or "they let me win after xxx times I lost." Some others I found that are really cheap are:

-Extra bosses in Wild Arms 2. Especially that turtle one and Ragu Ragulia (or whatever).
-Ozuma FFIX cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeap.
-Emerald Weapon FFVII. I swear he knew the MOMENT I went to heal/rebuff and would drop that ATS.
-Chupon FFVII. Sneeze can SUCK ITTTT!!! (yea I went old school)
 
I always thought that Ruby Weapon was a bigger son of a bitch than that Emerald one!
 
I concur on DoA4 bosses, but when it comes to RPG's the trophies for cheapest bosses go to the Persona games.
 
I still vote for 100cc/150 cc mario as CHEAPEST EVER.

lmao. how can anyone take that game seriously when they made not just one, but TWO beach volleyball video games featuring the characters of that series?
