if thats the video i think it is, i saw it a while back and yeah, it looks amazing. But I think I'll enjoy oblivion more.

I've seen a preview of Spore in the Summer of 2005 in California...

Spore looked pretty damn sweet, so I agree with your prediction. The demonstration in 2005 was like the same thing as in this video...

(And no this video isn't from that preview back then, cause a woman from the company showed it to us)
 
I heard the release date to be fall 2006/early 2007.
