aaron sums it up perfectly. pink floyd is great, david gilmour is great. i don't know how he gets tossed in these "greatest guitarist to ever take a breath!!1" debates though.

I don't even like Pink Floyd all that much anymore these days, I mean Dark Side of the Moon is great but most of the rest is pretty much just a drug-induced haze

Gilmour's playing isn't extremely technical, or fast, or 'badass' or whatever. And overall I am pretty much just talking about these two songs. But they're fantastic so up yours.
