Since the fishing holes are the only two new areas added to the game, it seems that the flags that prevent the use of the FD mask weren't applied to the new area definitions. That seems the most logical probability.

I think the problem is twofold. One is that the character's faces lack expressiveness, and the other is that the speech isn't in sync with what little movements their faces -do- make. It kind of looks silly.

I'm honestly looking forward to this, it looks to be very interesting. At some point I'd like to do some comparisons of the world map with those of Zelda I and II, because I get the feeling that this might be in the same 'era' or at least the same timeline. I'm still mulling things over.

It is fair to say that I am positively gushing with excitement for this release. :D
